Carpet Pole / Roll Prong

A forklift-mounted Carpet Pole, also known as a Roll Prong, is a specialised attachment designed for the efficient and safe handling of long products on rolls usually with a carbboard inner core. This long, sturdy steel pole, typically with a tapered tip, slides into the core of items like carpet rolls, fabric bolts, coiled hoses, or paper rolls. It allows a single forklift operator to lift, transport, and stack these unwieldy items with precision, significantly reducing manual effort and the risk of damage or injury. Available in fork-mounted or carriage-mounted styles, roll prongs are indispensable in warehouses, manufacturing, and retail settings dealing with bulk rolled goods.

Note:  If using the slip on Carpet Pole option you need to be aware that there is around 1000mm of lost load on your Forklift which will reduce the Overall capacity of your machine.
